Bakerwell was founded by counsellors who navigated the study-abroad maze themselves — and decided Malaysian families deserved a guide with no hidden agenda.
Our story
From one desk in PJ to five destinations
Bakerwell Education Advisory opened in 2015 with two counsellors, one desk in Petaling Jaya and a simple rule: show students the whole map, including the routes that pay us nothing. Word travelled the way it does in Malaysia — through parents.
Today a team of eighteen advisors, every one of them a former international or twinning student, has guided more than 11,400 students into universities across Malaysia, Australia, the UK, New Zealand and Ireland.

Our office sits in VSQ @ PJ City Centre, five minutes' walk from the Asia Jaya LRT station. Walk-ins are welcome on Saturdays; weekday sessions are best booked ahead so the right destination specialist is in the room.
